INTENSIVE INTERAGENCY

The service of Interagency Coordination actively works to build and enhance collaborative relationships between the education system, families, and various community agencies. The intent of this effort is to promote continuity of care and communication in order for students and families to benefit from available services within their community, in the least restrictive environment. The Intensive Interagency Coordinator (IIC) can assist in individual case resolution as well as help districts build capacity to serve students with complex needs. The role and function of the IIC can be adapted to meet individual needs of districts and students.
